Regulated Management Systems
The relevance of regulatory requirements or third party assessments clearly
depends on the nature of the business.
Some common systems relate to :-
Quality; Environment;
Health & Safety; Product
Safety; Product Approval;
Good Laboratory Practice; Good
Manufacturing Practice
Regulators demand a formally defined system of management. The requirements
are usually prescribed in the form of an international standard or an
accepted industry guideline.
These systems have many features in common. In general they require clarity,
control, consistency and improvement based on feedback.
In all cases clear process definitions provide the cornerstone for
demonstrating conformity to the relevant requirements. These process
definitions can then be referred to by all staff and external assessors
regardless of the particular focus of the assessment.
